Fairfax County has its share of schools too. FCPS, short for Fairfax County Public Schools, is a school division which administers public schools in Fairfax County and Fairfax City. It’s one of the ten largest school divisions in the country. They have close to 200,000 students in grade prekindergarten through 12. The high schools under FCPS are also recognized annually by the Washington post for being among the most challenging high schools in the country. They also boast of an alternative high school designated to help young parenting men and women to complete their high school education and to gain skills. They also offer Out-of-School support for kids who are unable to attend school because of an illness or disciplinary action.

McLaren in Ruins After Owner Uses it For a Day
FAIRFAX, Va. (WJLA) — One day after buying a $300,000 car, a driver wrecked it in Great Falls, Virginia, on Saturday. The driver was speeding in his McLaren 720S and crashed into a tree, according to Fairfax County police. The driver was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Thankfully, he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The McLaren 720S goes from 0-60 mph in only 2.7 seconds. It has a 710 horsepower and it has a top speed of 212 mph. The Fairfax County Police Department has shared a photo of the accident on their Instagram page and they have said that the entire reason for the accident was speeding. They also advised people to slow down or it just might cost you your life. Drive safe!
Thaiss Memorial Park in Fairfax, VA
Those who love baseball frequent this park and for good reason. Thaiss Memorial Park is home of the Fairfax Little League. There are 5 baseball fields and one batting cage area. The fields are nice and there’s abundant parking. It’s well-maintained. Even non baseball players can still go to this park as there’s a playground aimed for toddlers to play at. Some people even walk their dogs in this park. Concession stands are present and restrooms are unlocked during games. There is also a trail present and those who are into geocaching will surely be in for a treat as there are some geocaches hidden.
